As advertised at the start of term, in an effort to support you and your parenting, which we all know is a big and important job, we have organised for a well-known and highly regarded guest speaker to visit St Emilie’s in a little over a week’s time.
It is most important that we get enough people there however, to make the cost of securing Greg viable, so please ring the Office asap or by next Friday the 20th February at the latest,to confirm your attendance, thank you.
Please bring friends and neighbours who have children too!
Unfortunately if opportunities such as these are not well supported by the community, we are less likely to offer them in the future, so please get behind your school’s efforts to offer you quality opportunities such as this one.

Mr Greg Mitchell is nationally and internationally known for his high-energy, interactive and entertaining sessions with children and parents alike.

This presentation is a wonderful opportunity to invest in your parenting! Pop in to the St Emilie’s School Hall for just over an an hour of listening to a really engaging speaker. Bring friends too!
Cost: $5.00 – ideally please pay via the Office and have your name recorded, so that we have an idea of numbers (yes, you can pay at the door if you decide to come at the last minute but we would still appreciate a call to the Office to confirm numbers, thankyou!)
What is the evening about?
Children today live in a world that is more negative and judgmental than ever before, a world where their weaknesses are exaggerated, their strengths over examined and their failures are posted on Facebook.
Parents today need a regular dose of positivity to prevent their children falling into the thought pattern that goes something like “If you knew me as I really am you wouldn’t like me so I’ll pretend to be someone else!”
This entertaining, humorous and challenging presentation explores raising children through the concepts of resilience, success and progress.
