Dear Families,
Below are the options you have in regards to the K-2 and the Yr 3-6 disco this afternoon/evening.
Please note that we are striving to have the least number of parents on site as possible at any one time. If you are dropping/collecting your child from the classroom, there should only need to be one parent per family and you are asked to please be mindful of social distancing. Yr 3-6 parents are encouraged to use drive through.
Thanks everyone – we are sure that it will be a lovely night for the children. Kirsten Devereux and her team have done a really wonderful job organising this event and on your behalf I sincerely thank them for all their hard work!
We are crossing fingers and toes that rain won’t be a factor tonight š

Message from Father Jean-Noel re Masses resuming
1 June 2020
Dear Parishioners,
I am writing to you about the latest WA Governmentās easing of the COVID-19 restrictions in Phase 3.
As we await Archbishop Timothy Costelloeās new Directives with regard to the celebration of public Masses, we need to start preparing as the numbers for each Mass will be limited and there will be a set of protocols that we will be required to comply with.
At St Emilieās we are planning to have 5 Masses on the weekend as of 6 June 2020: 6.30pm on Saturday; and on Sunday 7.30am; 9.30am; 3pm and 5pm. The weekday Mass Times will remain unchanged.Ā
To assist with managing the numbers allowed, we plan to set up Mass groups of up to 200 people seated in 3 separate areas for each Mass.Ā This unfortunately does not allow for the flexibility we have enjoyed in the past of attending Mass on the spur of the moment or attending multiple Masses on a weekend.
To assist with the administration of setting up these Mass groups, please RSVP as soon as possible to the Parish Office by email advising ā
– which Mass time you would want to register for
– how many people would be in your family
The Parish Office email address is: stemilie.office@iinet.net.au.
Please state your Mass times in order of preference.Ā By the end of this week we will confirm by email which Mass group & time you belong to.
And finally, as we strive to work within these restrictions the best we can and endeavour to ensure that you and your family are able once again to celebrate the various Liturgies in our Parish Church,Ā I urge you to be patient and considerate with each other during this difficult time.
Regards,
Rev. Fr. Jean-Noel Antoine MARIE

Wellies, rain jackets, umbrellas and forecasts …
After the wild weather last night we all arrived at school this morning to greet a lot of small branches littered across the carpark and a huge gum tree uprooted across our path! We are so grateful that none of us were around and that it missed the walk way and roof of my office! š
Thanks to all parents for your most wonderful patience as we got children out of cars safely this morning.
We are waiting to see how the forecast plays out this afternoon as they have predicted that there may be some hail in the south eastern region.
Crossed fingers all we have to deal with is some wind!
Once again, thank you for your cooperation and patience – safety is our number one priority particularly at times like this.

The weather didn't dampen the children's fun across the school today! This little snapshot absolutely made my morning :)
Take care everyone and all the best for the week ahead!
