Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Music Assembly has been postponed from Monday 18th September to Wednesday 20th September at 8:40am in the undercover area outside the multipurpose room. The choir and the band will perform for students and any parents who would like to come along.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
Families are reminded of another very special opportunity to connect with your child’s learning journey by visiting their classroom and by walking through our hall display focusing on Social Justice, at the OPEN NIGHT Wednesday 13th September, 4-6pm.
We really hope each family will be there to celebrate our shared efforts. Coming together as a whole community is very special!
Please be considerate in regard to parking as times like these put a lot of pressure on available parking spots – carpool if you can!
Thank you everyone and looking forward to seeing you soon!
Dear St Emilie’s Families,
You are all invited to a Thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday 13th September at 9.00am to farewell our good friend, Mrs Aquino before she leaves St Emilie’s to take up her new position at Mother Teresa’s in Baldivis.
The Mass is a special way for children and families to pray for Anne and one another. Following the Mass, a morning tea for all parents and grandparents will be held in the new Learning Hub. The morning tea gives families can opportunity to say their goodbyes (as Anne leaves our school after the House Athletics Carnival on Friday). If you can come along, we would really LOVE to see you there as a way of saying thank you to Anne for her her care and for all her hard work in our community over many years.
Please RSVP your attendance at the Mass and Morning Tea to StEmiliesAdmin@cewa.edu.au before or by Friday the 8th September – THANK YOU!
If you were able to drop a small plate of food in for morning tea on your way to Mass (via the Office) it would be very much appreciated, thank you!
Just to clarify : there is no need for children who ride to school to leave early today. Our goal is to try and alleviate the parking spaces for funeral guests – cyclists do not impact on this, consequently there is no need for them to leave early.
We will therefore release any children who rode to school at the normal time of 3.00pm.
Thank you again for your understanding and support.
