WHAT TO BRING: Students need to wear their St Emilies sport shirt (with the yellow stripe). Water and a healthy snack is also recommended.
Just to remind you that children from Years 3-6 will be running in this year’s House Cross Country TOMORROW, FRIDAY 21ST JULY.
While we may be lucky, it is inevitable that some or all students may get wet when it is their turn to run! As no storm is forecast, we will definitely go ahead as planned (just as happens on the day of the Interschool Carnival). Traditionally classes come out on the oval to cheer – if it is raining however, this won’t happen. Classes will be brought out to run when it is their turn and other classes will remain indoors.
You are asked to please send your child with a small towel and their yellow sports top along with shorts/skorts and clean socks to change into should they get wet.
You are as always very welcome to come along to cheer and support – hopefully the weather will cooperate for you!

This week, every St Emilie’s family will receive a book of raffle tickets. The proceeds of this new and exciting Parents and Friends fundraiser will help to provide a variety of learning opportunities for our children, and resources for our community as a whole.
Should your family be able to sell more than one book, we welcome you to come into the front office or to email administration, as additional raffle books are available.
All families who sell a full book of tickets will go into a separate draw to win a pizza oven or movie tickets for your family. The more books you sell, the more chances you have to win!
Please note all tickets and monies are due back to St Emilie’s by Thursday 20 July. We greatly appreciate your support for our children and our community.
Please check your meeting time for your Two Way and Three Way Interview for tomorrow so you can be punctual and so that meetings can run on time.
Three way meetings are an opportunity for the child to showcase some of their work to a parent and to discuss their goals and progress. It is time to encourage the child’s efforts and to gently challenge if necessary.
Two way meetings are between the teacher and the parent only. The meeting is a wonderful opportunity to listen, to ask questions and to clarify how your child is progressing in regard to various aspects of their school experience.
Please come with a positive attitude and don’t forget to thank your teacher for their time and their efforts in relation to supporting your child’s learning here at St Emilie’s.
