School Banking will now take place in the school administration building.
Banking Day and time remain the same – Mondays 8.20am to 8.40am.
While our Fruit of the Holy Spirit focus is actually LOVE for these first 5 weeks of Term 3, given that we are still learning how to program the sign (hence the numerous false starts!) we felt that a few thoughts about PATIENCE might also be helpful for us all 🙂 Life is way too short to sweat the small stuff – we will get there ( amidst the myriad of other new learnings we are involved in each day) and encouragement goes a long way to making things a success…
Thanks to all those parents who continue to support, proactively help, maintain a sense of humour and a positive ‘glass half full’ attitude to life, to school and especially to the little hiccups along the way! You really are awesome!

A big thank you to all the parents and children who met up with me on a Friday morning this term to work on our veggie garden project. This project will be on-going next term. I am currently putting together a new roster so if any parents would like to be included on the roster for next term please get a message to me via email, note or phone message ideally before the end of this term so you can be included. Children are welcome too! The roster will come out early next term. We meet at the veggie gardens at 8am on the Friday mornings that we have an assembly.

Next Tuesday the 17th June is the Feast of St Emilie! Our day will begin with a Whole School Mass 9am organised by staff and students of de Vialar House, all welcome! We know that St Emilie devoted her life to the poor. We will help the needy in our local and wider community by sharing non-perishable food items. Families are asked to please:
1. Send in an item of non-perishable food (which will be given to our local St Vincent de Paul Conference for distribution to the needy in our local community)
2. Send in a gold coin donation (money will be sent to the Archbishop’s Life-Link Appeal which is distributed to children, youth and families in need in the metropolitan area).
Children will share in a Buddy Class Morning Tea (while they will sit with their buddy at recess, they won’t ‘share’ food – due to food allergies etc).
Thanks again for your wonderful support!
Please note that cross-country training is being held each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8am for those children who are interested in joining us, from Year 4, 5 and 6. A great way to build stamina and fitness in preparation for the event on Friday 25th July here at school and on Thursday 31 July at Tomato Lake.
As per the term planner and an earlier note sent home, at least one Year 4 parent of children who are making their First Holy Communion this year are required to attend the PARENT/CHILD WORKSHOP which is to be held THIS WEDNESDAY EVENING,18th June.
There are two sessions being offered and you can elect which one you wish to attend:
Session 1: 5pm in the School Hall ( finish time: 6.15pm) (School and Parish Staff in attendance)
Session 2: 7pm in the School Hall ( finish time: 8.15pm) (Parish Staff in attendance)
The evening will reinforce what this special Sacrament is all about and it will also firm up details in regard to the dates for making the Sacrament. If you have any further queries please email Mrs Anne Aquino: email@example.com
