At St Emilie’s, we love books and reading is one of our favourite things to do. It is very important that we know how to care for books so they can last for a long, long time and be able to delight many, many children. Click on the link below and see if you know some of the ways we can care for books!
Above: Shelley Richards , a friend of Mrs Curulli’s and a retired librarian, kindly volunteers at St Emilie’s on Mondays – here she is after covering some new books from our Literacy Pro collection!
We recently received the latest release for our new reading resource called Literacy Pro 2014 last Thursday and we are happy to announce that we have 50 more new books on the shelves ready for children to borrow!
Shelley Richards and Jo Roberto assist me in the library each Monday afternoon with shelving, accessioning and the covering of books – thank you so much ladies , your help is invaluable.
PARENT HELP NEEDED
We still have some new Keylinks books that need covering before students can start to start to use them. If you can assist by taking some books and book covering home and dropping back in ASAP, please leave your name and contact number with the Office and we will arrange to send home books and materials.
