Thank you all for meeting your commitment and bringing your child/ren to our weekend Masses over the last two weeks.
Sacramental Commitment Masses are just one way of letting your children know that making a Sacrament is highly valued in your family and you are also teaching your child that it takes a combination of learning, prayer, family and school support to help each child understand the relationship between FAITH and REAL LIFE.
We will work hard here at school to provide rich learning experiences and good role modelling and we trust that you will do the same within the context of your own family.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL THESE FAMILIES
for the work they did at our recent weekend Sausage Sizzle:
Coralee & Gino Dilello
Craig Walker and Melanie O’Connell
Jenny & Damien Rooney
Shand & Brian Cardy
Colin & Rachel Byrne
Tiffany & Paul Gates
Darren and Nikki Carr
and sincere apologies if we missed anyone!
BRAVO and thank you from our whole school community !!!
Well done and a sincere THANK YOU to Tina, Karen and their teams of helpers at last Sunday’s BUNNINGS SAUAGE SIZZLE.
Despite the weather forecast, they all still managed to raise close to a $1000 for our school.
Bravo everyone – a really top effort!
Congratulations to you all for getting your Two-Way Meeting Forms in on time – whoo hoo – a fabulous team effort!
Now the ‘fun’ begins trying to create master timetables for each class. We hope to have this job done by the end of the week and a return confirmation slip home to you by the start of next week.
Hope you are having a great week!
Tania and Staff
Thank you so much for all you brought with you on Friday night… friendliness, smiles, a relaxed attitude and a genuine spirit of community.
To all of you who sought out any new families, or who had a chat with a family you didn’t know – THANK YOU!! The single act of saying hello and introducing yourself to others is a very special and greatly valued aspect to being part of our wider school family.
Thank you very much to the PLAY FOR LIFE team who got things going out on the oval – well done on all you did to help us all have some fun and mingle together.
Thanks too for supervising your children in what has the potential of being dangerous when there is such a lot of people and many different ages of children. A special thank you to those parents who proactively adopted an ‘ it takes a village approach’ and generously looked out for the children of others, particularly little ones near play equipment.
A very special thank you to the P&F team ( and their families) and all the staff for your generosity in sourcing bread rolls, sniggers and icy poles and cooking and serving on the night – you are just wonderful people and we are very lucky to have each and every one of you here at St Em’s!
We cannot thank you all enough for the absolutely wonderful turnout last night!
Your presence was a highly visible sign of your most wonderful support and commitment to your children, to the staff, to us as a leadership team and to our whole school community.
As we said last night, we are really proud of our school and of our team. We enjoy our work, we work hard, we all have a great physical environment in which to teach and learn we really value and celebrate the families we partner with.
We are really looking forward to another great year ahead everyone!
I have attached the presentation from last night for anyone who would like to read through the key messages again here: Parent Info Evening 2015 . We would really love to hear any feedback from parents – whether about the class session or the hall session via email! Thank you!
