As you know our amazing St Emilie’s Dance Troupe performed last Friday, at the Perth Convention Centre, in the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival Creative Dance section.
We have been awarded a certificate of merit for the outstanding performance. The students should all be so proud, as we are, of their hard work for the many weeks rehearsing after school as well as their brilliant performance.
And here it is…enjoy!
Congratulations to all our very talented and hard working dancers and their teachers, for the incredibly professional performances, in both the Christian Movement section of the Performing Arts Festival and the Creative Dance entry.
It is a wonderful experience for students and a very proud moment for our whole school community – bravo everyone!
A great bunch of kids with much to feel so proud of!
On the 22nd August St Emilie’s celebrated Book Week with the theme, ‘Reading is my Secret Power.’ The Year 2 Blue and 6 Blue buddies spent some time participating in shared reading together in the beautiful sunshine. It was wonderful to see the students dressed creatively as a character from a book, which has inspired them.
