What an absolute pleasure it was to see our Year 4-6 Dance Troupe in action on Friday night!
Each and every student is to be heartily applauded on the weekly commitment of time, energy and dedication they have given, to creating something very special for us all to enjoy watching, as well as to reflect upon.
The classic song, ‘Mad World’ was the perfect choice for a performance that so poignantly reflected the daily plight of the homeless in our society.
A huge thank you to Miss Foong, Miss Massimi and Miss Goodall for the incredible amount of time, talent and care they have shared with these students over so many months – we are truly grateful!
I am also very thankful that our Social Justice theme was explored in such a creative and powerful way!
Moving people’s hearts, helps to move people’s minds, and when this happens, ignorance is shattered and change is possible!
Please also check out this post from the teachers where you can view the children’s performance!
