LIFE ED VAN
We were so lucky to be invited to participate in a visit to the LIFE ED VAN that was visiting the whole school last week!
The unit topic on Belonging and Connecting” connected very well with our own Growth Mindset Unit in our Kindy Programmes.
Harold the Giraffe shared his videos about the choices we can make that help others and allow our own hearts to grow, through being kind, helpful and generally treating others with care.
We shared with the class something or someone we are grateful for in our lives as we placed a token in a bucket, such as our parents, our families, our brother and so on.
We played games wth a tiny Harold as we worked together holding all the way around a large piece of fabric like a parachute, to give the little puppet some jumping fun in the middle!
Then as we were leaving the van, we could pat and thank Harold for sharing his ideas with us!
Thank you to all our families for helping us with our BOOK WEEK costumes! they looked truly fabulous and the Pre-Primary children enjoyed our parade as we announced which character we came as from our favourite story.
Thinking of books, thank you to our families for also sharing our “Read To Me” stories with us each week
and to Mrs Taylor for swapping them over every Monday- she is a book champion!
Remember to share a book with someone every day!
