A very sincere thank you is being sent your way for your presence at our Parent Information Night last week – it was wonderful to see you and we hope you walked away feeling positive, informed and excited about the year ahead!
Just as a family benefits from spending quality time together, so too does our whole school community. We really appreciate how busy life is for everyone, however opportunities where we can come together as one school family are also really special. We look forward to seeing your family support these type of events throughout the year.
This Wednesday morning 7th February, from 8.00am to 8.30am families are warmly invited to join staff, Board and P&F members as they are commissioned in their roles for 2018. A Community Mass was introduced a couple of years ago to give families on their way to work a chance to attend Mass with their children – it’s a really great way to start the day.
As you will have read our Annual Family Fun Night is being held on Friday 16th February from 5pm to 7.30pm..
The main goal of this night is to come together, to join in the activities, to spend time and have fun with your own children and to reach out and get to know some other families a little better – especially our new families. As significant adults in the lives of our children, our own attitude to opportunities like this one is key. If we project a positive attitude, enthusiasm and enjoyment, then it has a ripple effect on our children.
Bravo to everyone on the great take-up of the new school app. Like anything new, there is always a learning curve before success. Parents are reminded to please remain patient, kind and understanding – particularly with our hard working Office Admin team.
Have a terrific week everyone!
