A little Year 2 boy earnestly told me (with a beaming smile) this morning, how his dad had to work tonight so his Mum ‘snooked’ some cards into his bag as a big surprise …. very romantic and it wasn’t lost on their son! Absolutely wonderful! Hopefully dad had something lovely up his sleeve for Mum too? 🙂
Ok, “sneaked” is the correct standard past tense and past participle form of “sneak” and the word he was probably looking for! But hey, in another few years who knows, ‘snook’ might just be a new word!
Happy Valentine’s day everyone … may the love of those dear to you, and of a God who knows you through and through, nurture and sustain you, today and all the days of your life!
