After reading one of our favourites, Wombat Stew, we went on an adventure to the bush to search for all the things we could use to create our very own wombat stew! We have been learning a lot about Australian animals and we are beginning to learn about nocturnal and diurnal animals!
Buddies and Lifelink
For LifeLink Day 2019, all students were asked to create a page for St Emilie’s LifeLink’s ‘Big Book of Love & Hope” 2019.
Messages of support and care to people in need
from Catholic school students in the Archdiocese of Perth.
We were lucky enough to create this project with our year 3 buddies! We were so excited to meet them all and work together! We worked hard with our buddies to create artwork to support and send positive messages to the Djooraminda service managed by Centrecare which provides residential care and supportive services for Aboriginal children who are not able to live within their own family environment due to either abuse, neglect or other difficulties.
Thank you to all of the parent helpers that have come in to Kindy!
