In Maths, we have been looking at different objects in our environment that are symmetrical. We have learnt that the line of symmetry is an imaginary line that passes through the centre of an object or shape, that divides it into identical halves. We used this knowledge, along with some inspiration from our upcoming Perth Zoo excursion, to create some ‘Animal Symmetry’. We drew our chosen animal, then swapped with our partner to draw the other side. We are happy with our own version of the Perth Zoo in our class, until we see the animals in the flesh on our excursion!
