On Friday 10th February, students from years 5 and 6 took part in our ‘wellbeing day’. Students were grouped in their houses and rotated through four different activities for the day. Miss Hynes & Miss Thomas led a healthy eating session where students enjoyed delicious, fresh dips along with celery and carrot sticks. Mrs Ryan held a meditation session which incorporated reflective music and quiet activities and finally, Mr Naden and Jacob Aquino organised different fitness stations and team building activities which involved a lot of running, jumping, muscle building and communication. All activities were aimed at improving our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and of course, our teamwork skills and house spirit!
The day was a huge success and we look forward to more Wellbeing Days in the future!
