Year 2G has been practising their persuasive writing skills with the topic, ‘Is it better to grow your own vegetables or buy them from the shop?’
We have come up with some excellent arguments for both points of view. Are you able to be convinced?
If you go shopping you would wait in line. One time I had to stay there for a very long time. (Ashley)
You should grow your own vegetables because if you do they will be fresher and it’s fun. For example, when I was planting I saw one of my broccoli and I picked it, washed it, then ate it. It was yummy. (Francheska)
When you plant your own vegetables, your getting fresh air and your getting fit. (Daniel)
If you are in a hurry you can just go to the shop. Once Mum needed vegetables so she went to the garden but the plants were not finished growing so she just went to the shop. (Taylah)
We would also like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the wonderful parents who gave up their time this morning to assist with making props and costume items for our upcoming Edudance concert. We can’t wait to see the kids all dressed up in their awesome outfits!
